Smittybuilt Defender roof rack
Has anyone used the Smittybuilt Defender roof rack? It fits my needs for carrying capacity and I like the fact requires no drilling into top. Comments good/bad, other options? Thanks

I've used it for 2 years now for everything. Zero issues. I've had my 80 lb rooftop tent up there doing 80 mph on the highway without issue. Heavy loads hauled all over including the Rubicon trail. Zero issues. Fantastic rack. I believe they sell both a one piece and 3 piece versions. I have the one piece.

the defender rood rack requires no drilling to hardtop, when you buy it keep in mind brackets wont be coming with it, those are sold separately. i own the EAG roof rack which is very similar to smittybilt defender rack and it actually comes with everything you need. definitely recommend it for the price. i believe it holds 300lbs
