Just installed this high lift carrier and it seems to rattle like crazy. Anyone else had this issue. It's mainly from the high lift jack area. Any suggestions?

Is it the rack that's rattling or is it the jack itself? If the jack is rattling, I would check and make sure you have the rubber spacers in place. They are meant to isolate the jack form the rack sot that it doesn't rattle. If it's the rack, I would look at the mounting hardware and see if the bolts are tight and nothing came loose. Let me know if this helps!

I called Smittybilt this morning and talked to them. The spacers need to be sanded down to fit in the trac of the high lift. They are sending some additional rubber pieces. They have very good tech support. They need to add an extra screw to mount the tire bracket to the jeep. If not it could be a three man job.

Thanks for your Help

They do have a really good tech support dept. I have dealt with them on numerous occasions, and they have always been more than helpful. They might use the actual hi-lift brand jack instead of their brand of jack as a template because the Hi-Lift is a more popular option. It's kind of funny when you think about it though.

I'm glad they got it fixed for you. Feel free to shoot me a PM if you have any questions in the future.
