Smittybuilt seats
Has anyone installed the Smittybuilt suspension seats in a 07 JK? I have fabed suspension seats in a YJ and TJ, just built new brackets and used existing sliders.
My question on the JK is like everything else, all the electronics. In looking, looks like all wires attach to the sliders, which should be no problem. But just wondering if I am missing anything. Any help will be appreciated.

Ordered the SB seats, received the passenger seat last week, installed it over the weekend. Just received the drivers yesterday, will get to it in next few nights.
Some notes:
1. Passenger much more difficult than drivers, due to "flip forward" design and linkage.
2. Remove seats, frame and everything attached from jeep, much easier
3. use existing sliders, just bolt to new seat
4. on passenger side, you must drill a hole (3/4") in each seat mounting rail to accomodate the flip forward design.
5. must remove most of the flip forword mechinasm, flip forward won't work in future
6. There is some kind of loop back wiring, plugged into seat rail, remove, and fab to new seat rail
7. by keeping all sliders, all wiring, except #6 above, will stay attached and work
8. SB seat holes are about 1/4" off, enlarge current holes
9. female end of seat belt must be removed from stock seat, I made a piece of 5" strap, used existing SB seat bolt, and remounted to SB seat. This moves female end of seatbelt forward, just in front of console, much easier to operate.
10. On pass side, seatbelt strap end is mounted to stock seat. I removed, and mounted to rear seat mount to floor of JK, using existing hardware.
11. When complete, all buzzers and lights function like original. Haven't crash tested yet, but all belts seem very secure.
Not a project for faint hearted, wait for SB mounting kit. (and prepare to shell out $$$) The seats are MUCH more comfortable.
Will post pics if anyone interested.

Please post picks of the new seats in your JK. I am thinking about getting the mastercraft Baja seats. They have just came out with the brackets for the JK. I Cant stand the factory seats, they kill my legs.
it will be tomorrow, left my camera at work.
Installed the drivers tonight, went in ok, I really like them.
Same with me, on med-long jaunts, my right leg was going numb. Taking a small trip this weekend, can't wait.

At the very least I would imagine you'll get the airbag light on the dash. I wonder if they have a loopback plug or something for the airbag sensors when you pull the seats?
