Default Smooth Tailgate

What do you guys think? I live in Long Island so I don't do too much offroading. Only beach riding.

I was thinking of removing the spare and smoothing out the tailgate, or getting warrior products tailgate armor and getting it painted silver to match.
I was going toward the body armor so that I can always put the tire back on if I wanted. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

If you really want to do this, search the write-up and show and tell threads, someone did it last year and did a great job of smoothing out the tailgate, looked factory.

Also, you can always remove the rear seat and make a mount for the spare. That looks pretty good on a 2 door, not sure about the 4 door though. And I do like the no spare look, however it definitely looks better with a big beefy tire on the back

I'm thinking a tire from a Caterpillar Earth Mover.

And why would I want to advertise - "For Free". I already took off all the decals and the cheap plastic/chrome JEEP emblem on the front. And what's with all the chrome?
