Default Snorkel - homemade

Has anyone made their own snorkel? I am planning on doing one with PVC pipe right on top of the air box, through the hood and would like some input

There's a guy with a black 3" PVC pipe that looks pretty damn good. He goes out the side and it follows the lines of the AEV snorkel up the windshield.

The other one I saw that looked good was a "Hummer" style. A guy turned the battery and fuse box sideways and brought the tube back from airbox to the firewall and up through cowl. I had planned to do his method for awhile.

Yep, he built his own battery tray to facilitate it. He's no longer on this forum. It ended up like the River Raider Expedition Snorkel.

Nice link, thank you!
I am thinking something like that but going through the hood at the front, right above the air box.

AlmightyCrash made one, with a really cool skull for the top of the snorkel.

Check out his thread: Crash Must be Stopped

I have the plans for the custom battery/fuse block tray. Send me a PM and I can email it to you if you want.
