Maybe I should. Does anyone have a 2012 Snorkel yet? I've seen Rugged Ridges, but I don't like the look and I don't think its compatible.

That reminds me. When I was at a Jeep Jamboree in Amarillo in May there were these guys from a dealership in Michigan that had somehow modified the AEV snorkel to fit the Pentastar air box. It curved down right into the intake. I wish I had some pics to share. Pretty cool the way they made it work.

Oh and not bigoted at all. Parents escaped from communist europe. Best friend since 5th grade is ethnic Chinese. Emigrated from China in 1985 Hates the Commies. Won't buy anything made in China. Goes out of his way to buy from Taiwan just to spite the ChiComs. Even his chinese karaoke music is Taiwanese. You should hear some of his stories about growing up there. Like something out of Josep Stalin's wet dream.

River Raiders lists one for a 2012 and they are a USA company to boot

My Jeep is almost exact to yours now and I am wanting a snorkel really bad. Is it extra loud with the doors/top off? Ive heard a few complaints that they can be annoyingly loud on a daily driver with the top off

Haven't noticed any increased noise from the snorkel. If there us, it's minimal and drowned out by having the doors/top off.

I was in their group. Cool guys. I had the other only other JK in the group and mine is 2012 so I looked at them closely. Here is a great picture of them.

The only one that doesn't work with windshield lights is the Rugged Ridge high mounted version.
