I was wondering if anyone had an answer to a simple question because I have searched and have found nothing but brief mentions. Will the aev snorkel mount with the mopar light brackets and the hella 500s that come with the mopar kit? if not does the RR snorkel work? Thanks for the info

 

You might give AEV or RR a call. I'm sure they could tell you the answer rather quickly.

 

I called AEV and there response was it depends. Which I was not impressed with. RR has not responded yet. I actually found a partial answer on another forum that stated this setup will not work with AEV But if I changed the lights it would. Then I am forced to ask what size lights i would need to get? lol but thanks for the suggestion

 

I have RR snorkel with KC slimlights and kc brackets on without a problem. The Kc brackets are only 30 compared to 100 I've seen the mopar brackets for. I think Rugged Ridge makes same bracket for 25. I got mine from Quadratec

 

Outnam Dan is running the AEV snorkel with the windsheild lights on Mopar brackets. He used a piece from the stock bumper (since he has an aftermarket now) to move the mounting location forward about 1" and it all works fine.
