Default Snorkel without cutting

Are there any snorkels that don't require cutting a hole in the fender or hood?

Rugged Ridge is coming out with a snorkel design that requires minimal cutting, but no cuts in the fender or hood. River Raider also has a design that goes through the firewall and up the cowl, so no cutting of fender or hood, but there are cuts on the firewall and cowl.

I know how you feel... I bought my snorkel a few weeks back but, haven't built up the guts to put the saw to my hood yet! Planning to install it next weekend or the following.

I cut the hole for my snorkel a couple weeks ago.. Stressful going into it, but felt so good once it was done

Sometimes cutting the hood can save your engine from hydrolock, 500$ snorkel vs 5.000$ new engine, who is the winner...

Just do it. It's very easy and can be done with a cutoff wheel or dremel. I love mine. Just don't believe the snorkel hype (I.e. Better HP, better sounding, more power, ability to go deep in water, etc.). That being said I've never regretted it. It's my fav mod. You can always replace the hood if you wanted to go back to stock but after you install the snorkel you will never want to go back.

The cutting is the only thing holding me back too.
