Well, snowplows seemed to work well on CJ's and TJ's. I can't see any reason why they wouldn't work well on a JK.

I've been waiting for this. I plow snow with a 3500 series Chevy and a Western Pro Plus 7.5. Although it is an outstanding plow rig, I have a very cut up parking lot I do that would be perfect for the JK. I get $150 an hour with a four hour minimum everytime. I would love to have an aftermarket bumper and winch so that I can be the ultimate mall poser, but the plow will add more utility to JK SUV :toung:

My families business sells a lot of plows from all companies including Myers. I will tell you Boss makes the best plow out there, very easy to mount on and off and they hold up by far better than any of the others. We sell a lot of pumps and solenoids to Myers people all year long while the Boss plows just don’t break!

We made the first Mont for a JK in house and then sent pics to Boss and they worked their design off of ours. So Boss is also making a JK plow setup and you can get a Polly blade and the thing weighs nothing and the snow doesn’t stick to it.

Personally, I would never dream of plowing with my JK! But that's just me. It woudl do well, nimble and the ability to cut parking lots is great. But Personally any plowing trashes a vehicle. I've run a plow business for a number of years, and run plows on large and small trucks. They take a beating if used commercially. Yes, maybe for the homeowner that has a driveway and takes their time,. I have a Chevy Colorado that's my work truck, and threw a Western (my favorite plow of choice!) on the front. Love the size this assembly allows me, even with a hopper spreader (another Western) on the back. Cleaning up parking lots and drives has never been so easy! If you have it and don't care about what it will do to the frame, go for it!

I just had a Meyer Drive Pro plow installed last Wednesday, had snow today. Plow is great, I've been plowing with Wranglers since 1995. I had a Western on the YJ, Meyer on my 97 TJ (Mopar option), Meyer on my 2002, and now this one. I service a hotel with a 450 parking spot lot, this is all continuous from beginning of snow to final snowflake. Wranglers are great plow vehicles for parking lots. Check out the Meyer Drive Pro. By the way, these were /are my daily drivers and they are all still going strong.

www.superplow.com

I saw this and was considering it. My wife convinced me to buy a snow blower instead (walkways, and sidewalk).

At first I was skeptical but after watching the videos, it is not that bad of an idea-especially since it attached to the hitch only (no permanent fix points)and uses 1250 lbs of down force. It lifts and angles working as pull and push.

May not be ideal for commercial but for residential it might do the trick!

i agree^^ it looks alot more practical for a home owner than a fisher home steader plow, only if you have a small driveway. if its longer than 200 feet, id get a normal front plow.

I'd do it Wranglers make great plows. Depending on the kind of winter that plow could be bought and paid for very quickly.
