Unhappy So, I'll ask again OR Please Help

Are the old stickies still around? I have a stock 2008 2 door Rubicon. My rims are starting to rot. It's time to replace them. What size are the stock rims? What is the stock rim backspace? I replaced the original tires with the same BFG's about three months ago. If someone could just point me to the old stickys, I'm not sure if they were in Stock, think it may have been in Modified, but whatever. I really need answers to these questions so I can find repalcement rims online. Thanks in advance.++

My 08 JKU X had 6.25" BS on 17" wheels. I recently took mines off. If you're interested, I could sell you them.

I apppreciate the answer, and the offer, but I'm going black alloy, after 7 years, I'll finally have the black rims I've always wanted.

Stock rims come in 16", 17" and 18". All are 5x5 bolt pattern. I think the 16's are 7" wide, and the 17's and 18's are 7.5" wide. 6.25" backspace should be accurate for all of them.

Unless you are worried about fender coverage, you might consider a bit less backspace to move them out.

I remember reading the Rubis had a different backspacing. I believe it was 44.45mm offset. Which would be 6" of BS on a 7.5" rim. I'll see if I can find it.

So, what happened to the old stickies? The mod FAQ had broken links, but the info was still there if you scrolled down. And it was available just a few weeks ago.

Yeah, I noticed that they were missing a week or so ago. I figured they were removed because WoL wrote them and wants to be paid for the site to use them or some shit like that.

Well that would be a change in terms and I don't believe allowed under the law. If the owner(s) bought the site with those in place with no mention to have to pay additional fees then I would think WoL would be SoL.

I still haven't found the picture of the offset on the inside of the Rubi rim. It had to have been a year since I saw it.

Found it! Post #5.
