Default Soft 8's

I have read everything I can find on here about the Pro Comp / Cragar / Pacer battle and I can't find the answer to this one.

I am in the process of ordering my 15" soft 8's and the place I am getting them from has the Pacers.

I know that Pro Comp, Cragar, and Pacer are basically the same company, and that the main difference is the back spacing, but what about the quality. Is there any difference in quality from each of them. When I was looking at the wheel in the shop they had a pretty noticable seam on them. Do the Cragar and Pro Comps have that seam too?

yeah, pretty much all the black steel wheels look the same and have similar minor imperfections. needless to say, i wouldn't worry about it. having said that, is there a reason why you are going with 15" wheels? for a jk running 35's or larger, a 16" or 17" would be a better fit.

The only reason I am going with the 15s really is because I like the way they look. I know I will probably have to do some caliper grinding to get them on. I am only going with 33s since I have 3.73 gears and don't have the gear funds as of yet.

If I do (I should say when I do) go with 35s or 37s down the line will it be a problem with the 15s?

I just bought some last week, Cragar Soft 8s, 17x9, they do have a seam of course, just how they're made, it's hardly noticeable and that's coming from a pretty detail oriented individual. Had these been some $300 wheel with that I'd have optioned for something else, but @less than $75 p/wheel, no shipping, etc, etc it made sense. But I primarily bought them for future custom weld-on beadlocks.

I don't mind the seam at all. I was just curious if they were all the same. I think I am gong to look around some more before I decide on this shop. They are giving me a great deal on the tires, but I think they are overcharging for the wheels. I may get them somewhere esle.

Thanks for all of your help guys!

It was like $109 each or something. I see them cheaper everywhere.
