Default Soft top 8 dollar flapping fix.

Well, im sure everyones soft top flaps at highway speeds. With all four windows down. So, i found out what was causeing it (flapping against the sound bar) and i fixed it.

10 years. We'll see about that. The stripping cost 8 bucks.

^^^.

Mopar soft top. The flapping is completely random, and not constant. But i noticed it enough i just wanted to quiet it. And im sure that even your top will flap sometimes. They all do.

Don't know what flapping you are talking about, since mine doesn't. I do notice you don't have you top folded back correctly - I did the same thing for a while. The bottom fold should be 180 degrees back.

Anyway, glad your fix worked. No idea why some would flap and others don't.

I only got a little flap when the windows were all out and on the freeway doing 75. course I think I read you aren't supposed to go that fast with the windows out on the soft top.

The pool noodle stays up there just fine, its wedged in pretty good. With the bikini top the pool noodle is totally needed and is also wedged in very well.
