i have a 2010 softop (cable system) on my JKU. If I had 2008-2009 door surrounds, would they work since the cable system just seems to lock the softtop flush with the door surrounds?

Reason I ask - I bought the mopar sunbonnet for softtop....you can only use the 2007-2009 door surrounds. I dont want to replace my 2010 softtop with a 2007-2009 soft top....i got his sub bonnet for our infant to stay shaded.

My other options is to buy the besttop one for 2010 tops but I hear its not nearly as good as the mopar bikini style. Trying to figure a way to keep this mopar one.
