Default Soft Top Rip Repair Help!

I have a small rip on the left rear of my soft top on the back window. Would it be wise to just stitch this up with some nylon thread or is there a better method? I might sell this soon so just a temp fix would be best.

In that location I'd just stitch it with black uv thread. If it were a rip or hole I'd use :

Good luck
