Default Soft Tops

So my father in law was driving my jku around and low and behold a branch snapped off a tree and went right through the soft top. Thankfully he is ok but now I have a, according to him, a good sized hole in the top. I am waiting to get out of work to see the actual damage myself. Any tops you guys would recommend? I was looking at the Quadratop replacement top. Any reviews of it? Thanks.

Also looking at the Smittybilt one as well.

Insurance should cover the cost of a brand new Mopar replacement soft top. The new premium soft tops look great

I thought of that and I still need to check my insurance but I may have a deductible of $500. If that was the case it may make sense to just buy a new one for $400 and save $100 and not even have to report it to insurance no?

And how bad would a hole or tear have to be before they would replace the whole thing? Not sure if up to a certain size hole they would just patch it.

You will have the best luck looking on CL to find a "new" top. I recently sold my '08 JKU top for $250 in good shape. There's a top, with windows and surrounds for $100 in Dallas area. My neighbor sold his '12 soft top for $500 new in box, so you can find them for good deals.

Agree - try craigslist first there's always some there.
