the real suggested air pressure is from trial and error. or 25 -28 psi because lots of people have done that for you. Thats why the door has a sticker with a rating for people to go by in an unmodified "car" for eg. the tire on the rubi has a max 0f 55 psi but the door call for 37 it makes for a good ride and tire wear the factory figured it out for the general poppulation.
sorry, you kinda lost me there but, if i'm understanding you right, what is called for on the door is for a much smaller factory tire with thin sidewalls - NOT a big E range tire. trust me, if you are running anything more than 28 psi in your toyos, you are NOT getting good tire wear but rather, premature wear down the center of the tread. do a standard chalk test and see for yourself.
