Default SOLID covers wont stop dripping!

I have tried everything. LubeLocker, blue Loctite, even carrying a 13mm wrench in the glove box to tighten daily, but the same 5 hardware bolts come loose to the point of drip daily! What am i doing wrong?

Are you using the supplied bolts, or the stock bolts? Are the bolt threads clean?

Take some compressed air and blow it into the bolt holes making sure they're clean and unobstructed. I had a decent amount of RTV buildup in most of the bolt holes when I swapped my covers.

I run the SOLID diff covers and have never had a problem,,,
Place the cover on a flat surface just to double check its flat!! You probably have already done this but just in case!!!
make sure all surfaces are clean without any gouges, then use the locktite gasket goo....
Blue locktite the threads of the bolts, then tighten...
Thats about it... cant really think of much else..........

I kept the stock ones and used those. Hell of a lot easier to torque accurately and take off is under 2min w/air ratchet I'm really not a fan of the hardware SOLID supplied, the heads also appear to be a lot easier to shear off than the stockers.

When you installed the bolts, did you humm the theme to "The A-Team"?? Pretty sure they have that text in bold in the directions, but just making sure..

Some people don't and have issues with the diff covers leaking.

This thread might be of use to the OP. When I posted, it was in reference to recommended torque settings for LubeLockers, but more than hand tight with a wrench is asking for trouble particularly with the garbage hardware supplied with SOLID diff covers.

Warning to LubeLocker users

As for using stock bolts, that didn't work for me as a couple of the spines or fins or whatever you want to call 'em on the SOLID covers interfered with the heads of the factory bolts.

Your cover is f 'd up if you gotta tighten the same 5 bolts everyday. Or the holes threads or bolts are f'd up.

I'd get new bolts. Napa had them for cheap when I got a set. Mine solid covers were used and didn't cone with hardware. Lube lockers and no leaks ever, even after being drug over rocks repeatedly.
