My problems were getting that one bottom deep set bolt seated (couldn't get the socket in) and that front one knocking into my steering linkage.

Seriously have you checked to see if it's warped?

I think I would try blue loc-tite first. If it wont hold then go red.

That sux! I've been riding with lubelockers and solid covers for about 7 months now and no loose bolts or leaks.

As stated earlier, I'd try blue loctite first. Red loctite will require heat, impact wrench, or a breaker bar to remove the bolt. With the small bolts on the diff, you're almost certain to break them next time you have to remove the cover.

Lube Lockers and anti-sieze used on my ARB's. What did you torque the bolts down to?

I have a Solid cover on my D44 rear with lubelockers and have had no problems (knock wood) no loc-tite either.
Now I'm worried, gonna check when I get home!

Let me make some things clear here - the problem is not with the lube locker, its with the bolts. If you bang on your diff pretty good, as I did in Moab, its going to break free just a little. I had to tighten my bolts every day, sometimes twice a day in Moab. But after putting some loctite to them I've been good.

Loctite does NOT come with the solid covers, just to be clear.

RTV WILL seal better than the lube lockers, but its a trade off - you either get better sealing with RTV and a mess to clean up everytime you need to take off your diff - or you can use lubelockers and everytime your diff gets off just a wee-bit you'll have a leak. No biggie.

In fact, the lubelocker I have on my rear has been re-used so many times the bead is gone but it still seals like a champ and no leak. I have extra lubelockers on standby, but as long as its not leaking obviously theres no need to change it.

Sorry Jack, don't see that as a fact.

I will say there's no way either RTV or the LL is gonna cause the bolts to loosen up.

i banged my front diff pretty hard with the solid cover and lubelocker on there, never could get it to quit leaking after that. got rid of that lube locker and used rtv on it..no more leak. i had to tighten my bolts all the time too.
