Default Some of the best jack stands out there

Going to be putting on my lift (3 inch tera with all 8 controll arms, front and rear jks track---thanks Dave) and am looking to get some high quality jack stands. I am thinking about these http://www.alltiresupply.cm/p-5000N.html

I am goin to get 4 of these, just lift one side(front or rear) of the rig off the ground at a time. I know, I know, there are cheaper alternatives out there, but I dont care, I am not going to have this thing fall on me. I like the price of harbor but I dont think I can bring myself to go under the rig with these. What do you think about #4 5tons AC jacks holding up the front. I want to go overboard on this.

I think it's way overkill and a waste of money. If I'm dropping that kind of coin on a set of jack stands, I would just go all the way and get a 2 post lift since I'm already 25% of the way there.

Just no reason for anything more than a 3 ton set of stands for a JK, and with 4 of those you could pile on 3 more JKs.

I used some HF 12 tons on my tera 3". I only used that big of a stand because I needed the height.

Like bigblue said, if you want height, get the 12 tons. I have the 3ton Sears and they could have been taller for doing the frt. Rears, no prob, frt coulda used a few more inches.

I used the Torin-Big Red Pro 6 ton from Northern Tool. Plenty of height and MORE than enough beef to support a corner of the rig. About $25 a pair. Spend your $$$ on something more useful than $110 stands...WAY OVERKILL...IMO

I think I have the same 3 ton sears ones. I dunno how you pulled that off. I couldn't get it high enough to get my 33s off. BUT... I liked they way the smaller sand contacted the frame better.
