Soon to be Rubi Owner with questions...
I am looking to pick up a 2009 Rubicon This weekend...
Its Black and I am going to put a set of black wheels and new tires on her right from the get go....
What I would like to know is a few things....
1) what is the biggest tire size I am going to be able to pull off with zero rub... I dont want to have to think about it at all... no rub... max wheels size ?? I do know that the agressiveness of the tread also has to do with this somewhat but I need some sort of benchmark.
2) BB is buget boost ? thats a cheap 2'' lift kit that is what, blocks that space out the body ? or is it springs also ? I am trying to keep it as minimal as possiable for now...
3) I dont mind using spacers for clearance but I am prob just going to use a backspaced wheel that fits the job... I am trying to get 35's on there but if thats not possiable 33's on the stock setup...
4) If anyone has pictures of 35's on stock suspension, what did you have to do to get it to fit... and does it rub ?? what rim/wheel combo you running??
5) Same thing for 33's on stock suspension...
I did search the site and found the check out my 33's and look at my 35's links but they are all on trucks that either rub and state its rubs.... or rubbed and they cut the crap out of the fenders and pinch welds and changed fenders... or they have 3'' + lifts and that not something I am willing to do just yet...
If anyone can kick some info my way I would be greatful....
bottom line I guess is I just want wheels/tires that are the biggest/gnarliest that I can fit in the stock setup for now... with no rubbing...
and a idea of what I can squeeze in there with a body lift or a budget 2'' lift...
Its going to be a lease, that I will plan on buying out maybe, I dont mind buying wheels/tires and small stuff for it for 3 years but I dont want to get a whole lift thrown on it if at the end I need to remove all of it anyhow...
Thanks in advance!

I put the 2" Full Traction BB on mine. Were I to do it over again, (and it's comin) I would get TeraFlex's 2.5" coil spring lift. It's much more complete and lifts the correct way. Nothin wrong with a BB if that's all you can afford. Just don't end up like me and wish you had done it differently.
TeraFlex is your friend.
Download the 2009 catalog from my sig line or take a look on our website www.teraflex.biz . If you have any questions, call me.

I would say go with teraflex. I have there budget boost and I am very happy with it. Talk to Dave at www.northridge4x4.com, he can help you out with your orders.
Cool Teraflex 2.5 bb sounds like its the best option...
Whats the max tire size I could run with that setup ?
Could I get 35's under that with little or no rubing ?
Spacers would be used... or just corrected bs's on the rims...
**** side note... Thanks alot to everyone for hooking it up... and for those searches I cheked out most of those but that second link I missed and hot damn that was informative so thanks a TON ****

Hay this is cool. Every one here recommened the TF lift...
I got the TF 2.5BB right off. Installed it at home. Kit was complete and pretty easy to install.
Then came the heavy front bumper and winch... Talked with Joe at TF and he suggested the 2.5 coils. So I ordered them and swapped out my pucks for the coils. Everything is great now.
My recomendation if the TF 2.5 coil kit. Either with the stock shocks with are very good, and the kit will come with extentions for the stock shock, or you can order the kit with TF shocks....
Get the catalog and go wild....
Oh, and with your new rims, get the proper back spacing, then you don't need the wheel spacers. I don't know the proper offset for you, but I bet someone here does...
