you were right.... I just needed a little more leverage. It didn't help that I was nervous working under the jeep (the driveway is a little uneven... and i didn't quite trust the jack stands completely...

I noticed you are in Boston? Is it rusty? Maybe you should spray PB Blaster on the nuts and leave it overnight and try again tomorrow.
Surprisingly the factory bolts weren't rusty at all... I dont' know what they use, but they held up pretty darn good... I wish I could say the same for the steering wheel adjustment sleeve... It's on there good, so until I get home from work this afternoon, I'll be driving around with my steering wheel facing to the right... and EPS going nuts...

I agree with leaving the wheels on. I had all these same issues until I asked the same questions and got all the same answers. I have been had those bolts in and out numerous times to fine tune castor and diff angles. Several in this thread helped me out at the time!

Hey Piginajeep-saw your rig at the PA Jeep show ( I think it was yours). You were busy at the time so I didn't say Hey. I wanted to thank you for your input at times through my build!

My ESP goes on at 25mph now, so I have to drive really slow. I hope it's just the steering wheel being off....

I know! But for some reason the sleeve was not moving. I had no problems with recentering the wheel when I put the Teraflex in... But for some reason it wouldn't budge, and I was exhausted. Not to mention, I broke (yes really broke) my thumb when a wrench slipped.... So I wasn't feeling too strong...

I think the water crossings allowed water to get into the sleeve and rust over... A ton of PB blaster and a pipe wrench last night got her loose though... Tomorrow I'll have to hit her with some rattle can so she doesn't rust over again from the wrench scratches...
