Default spacer install qustion...

I am looking at installing 1/2 " spacers on top of my 2.5" teraflex springs front and rear after I install my winch bumper and some other accessories in a few weeks.

When I drop the axles to install the spacers do I need to loosen the control arm bolts and then retorque them again like when I originally did the lift install? Or can I just disconnect swaybars and brake line brackets and go for it? (The net height after spacer install will be about the same as it is now.)

In other words, will temporarily dropping the axles low enough to pop out the springs mess with control arm bushings if I don't loosen the bolts?

You should be OK as long as your axles will drop enough to install the spacers. After you lower the jeep back down it is still a good idea to check the torque on your suspension bolts.
