I think the first time I put spacers on my jeep it took about an hour and a half, working by myself. It was a bit quicker the next time I did it.

How difficult is this to do? I have 3/4" spacers at home and am considering installing them myself, or having them installed for about $100 - recommendations?

It's not that difficult if you have the tools. Here is a write up for a budget boost, of course you will only need to follow the writeup for the front axle.
