I hope that I have overlooked this answered question somewhere, but I have exhausted the search function and decided to ask anyway. Has anyone used a wheel spacer to convert from the standard 5 on 5 bolt pattern to say a 6 lug pattern in order to use a different rim, one that was perhaps not offered for the jk pattern? The method behind the madness is my brother has the exact set of rims I have been eyeing for the past few months on his Toyota Tacoma and is willing to let them go for a VERY good price. Any info is greatly appreciated!!!!

 

I know you can go from 5 on 5. to a 5 on 5.5.

not sure about six lug though

 

I know you can change the 5 bolt spacing but adding another bolt with a hub centric spacer would most likely be impossible. You don't have the room to just add a bolt without conflicting with your existing 5.

 

Thanks for the replys guys, my brother has since sold the rims so i am out of luck. But, that is ok, the search continues.
