Default Spacers or Not

I purchased a set of Spidertraxx spacers...I want to install them
on my factory wheels with BFG'S 255 55/17 MT Tires...I want to
bring the wheels out a little...Is this a safe bet...

I put mine on at 6000 miles, 8000miles got a BB and 35's, added a susp lift, crager soft 8's somewhere along the line. I'm at 37,000 miles now , no issues whatsoever.

Here's a write up for them

As long as you install them properly then you shouldn't have any problems with them.

I've been putting mine off because I hear they're not exactly legal in Quebec. But if I ever get around to it I'll let you know so you can pop over and take a look at how they look with the factory wheels.

Here's some pics with and without the spacers on stock wheels so you can see the difference.

Not a huge difference in appearance., but it's noticable...... and the tires clear my Currie endlinks now

IMO its safe. I have them and have had no problems. Just remember to torque them down and check that they are still torqued when you rotate the tires, or more often if you want. Also remember to take off the little retainer clips that are on the lugs before you put the spacers on. I think that is in the instructions anyway.

Just make sure you use the Loc-Tite, torque properly, then after about a week, drop the torque wrench about 5 lbs and re-torque. I have been running these for 2.5 years with no problems. It looks way better with the wider stance IMO.
