Default Spare Tire

Okay so I have a few questions about spare tires. I did search so please don't flame.

I am currently running 265/75R16 (with spider traxx with stock rims) on my jeep and I still have my stock spare 245/75R16.

1) Can I run a 265/75R16 on the stock carrier? without a spacer?
2) I plan on going 255/85r16 on stock rims after my current tire wear out, will this work on the stock carrier?
3) I wouldn't think weight wise or even size wise the 255/85R16 will be way bigger then the stock rubi spare, but are products like hxxp://www.quadratec.com/products/22202_1001.htm
worth while?
4) Any other thoughts, comments, questions on this?

Yes
Yes
Yes, but you don't need it for that size of spare tire
Not at the moment.

You should be fine, I have seen a few guys running 35s on the stock carrier.

Of course it doesn't last long considering the weight and size. I personally run a 305/70R16 on the stock carrier with no spacer and it fits perfectly
