Default Spare Tire Bike Carrier for 35" tires??

Has anyone produced a Spare Tire Bike Carrier for 35" tires?

Thule Spare Me doesn't reach - asked Olympic if they had plans, nothing in the near future .

Trying to hold out until someone creates one...???

i am wondering the same or if someone makes a hitch mount carrier that will actually clear the 35-12.5 spare tire on the back.

I know that there is one out there, unfortunitely I can't think of it.

Yakima maybe?

You could always get a bike rack for your tow hitch. That's a GREAT way to go and you have tons of choices for racks at that point. A rear hitch is usually around $100 on eBay.

there's a lot of trailer hitch mounts, most require you order an optional extension.

back in the day when my jeep was stock i was spoiled having my spare tire rack. nice swinging tailgate/bike open to access cooler and stuff in back of jeep.

guess i'll try to fab one to mount one of the spare tire receivers i have.

can't believe no ones produced one yet??

i was thinking about modifying my Yakima Kingpin 5(hitchmount bike carrier) to work with a hitch through the spare but that seems like a lot of weight on the tailgate. hopefully when I get an expedition one rear bumper ill be able to do this since I also use the rack to hold skis during ski season and it really would be nice to be able to get into the rear more easily.

The SARIS T-Rax Sport works with a 37x13.5 spare. I always tie off the top of the rack to my wheel for additional support. Without it, it looks kind of flimsy.
