Default Spare Tire Bounce?

So I got my 33" Nitto Mud Grapplers and I was under the impression I would have no problems putting one on the stock tire carrier. It fit fine, but now when I go over big bumps it bounces. Is this bad? Is there a possibility that the carrier will break? It seems to be on there just fine and it's hard for me to move it, but I am pretty sure it's bouncing when I hit the bumps.

And sorry if this is a stupid question that's been asked 1,000 times. Sometimes my searching capabilites suck.

is it safe to assume that the sidewalls are not pressing up against the rubber isolators on the tailgate? if not, you really need to get your spare pressing up against them and that will help out a lot. if you are having a problem with them being too short, daystar makes a set of extended isolators that will do the trick for you.

Yep, a set of Daystar tailgate bumpstops will fix that. About 12 bucks.

They come one size fits all so whenever ya get them you will most likely have to trim a little off.

Tighten the bolts where they mount to the body also, or check um at least, mine weren't very tight from the factory. Was behind a jk today and his 35 was bouncin all over.
