Default Spare tire isolators not touching

I have 285/70/17 BFG AT's on MB72 wheels. The backspacing is such that the spare tire doesn't make contact with the isolators. It's on there pretty solid and doesn't wobble/flex sideways. Is this an issue? Should I purchase larger/longer isolators? Are they even available? Thanks!
