Default Spare tire location thoughts

I had some stuff laying around and tried a different location for my spare. Not sure how I feel about it so looking for some thoughts. I also am waiting on two rotopax that'll be mounted to the tailgate.

That is an awesome setup and I'll be doing damn near the same thing on mine. Great job on being different!

are you talking about the upright or on its side above the tailgate. I can't decide which I like more.

Personally not for me, seems you can't put the hard or soft top on/up and if you can you have that tire smell to live with. No improvement in rear view and an already limited interior just lost all its storage space.

If this is for clearance while rock crawling then it is great

I can't see the pictures on my phone, but I'm going to mount my 37 spare in the floor of my 2 door. I don't have back seat passengers and don't need much storage. It will help with the COG and visibility and I kinda like the smell of tires

Personally not my thing. Hate to come to a sudden stop and have a 100 pound tire caving in the back of my head. I installed the Smittybilt XRC rear bumper and carrier for my spare. Looks and works great. Plus I mounted my hi-lift on the carrier as well.
