Default spare tire question: need help/info

Hello.
A while ago I bought a 4 set of General Grabber AT2 in 265/75/16 And in my mind was that I was going to buy the 5th when it was time for a tire rotation (which is almost time). Any way I wanted to do a 5 tire rotation but it seems these tire are rare everywhere or they are on back order. I should just have bought the 5th when I bought the set. Anyway I had a few questions:

Can I buy lets say another brand of tire (lets say a cheap used one) but in the same size and lets say I get a flat on the road or wherever, Can I put that different spare tire without any problems to get me to like a tire repair place? You get the idea right?

And does anybody know who has the General Grabber At2 in my size in stock or anywhere?
Thanks!

Yep, a cheap used spare is fine. Any brand will do, just find one that is close to the same height. (that is assuming you can't locate a 5th in your current tire...)

Have you tried Discount Tires Direct (site sponsor, so you can PM them here) or Tire Rack? They both usually have a pretty decent selection.

Now does it matter if the spare is in the P size or LT. My current tires are in the LT size.

Depends. Are you wanting a spare to put into a 5 tire rotation? Find one as close to the other 4 as possible.

If you just want something that will get you from where you break down to somewhere a bit safer, it just has to hold air long enough to get you there...
