spare tire relocation bracket
I put 35 Nitto Muds on and when I went to put the spare tire on the back, it wouldnt fit because of the stock bumper. Is there a mod out there or a place where I can buy a relocation bracket or spacer of some sort?
Dont have the cash for a off road bumper just yet.

Does this bracket from Expedition take any pressure off the hinges? I am on the list for Schrockworks carrier/bumper but who knows when that will be available. But I hate to spend $100 on something that will be replaced in a few months. I have 35s that I was planning on placing on the stock carrier and bumper until the new one arrived.

Buy a set of 2 Spidertrax 1.5" wheel spacers (or find someone selling 1, or to split it with). I bought a set of 4 prior to changing wheels/tires after adding my lift. When I got my wheels/tires in, I sold all 4 individually within 24 hours to people using them to mount 35's on their stock spare tire mount. I didn't lose any money either.
As for Rebel Heart's question about weight on the hinges...all of these effectively add bracket weight to the hinge, as well as the increased weight of the larger spare. It doesn't matter if the weight is being carried higher, further out, closer in, etc...you are still adding weight to a hinge that has not changed. I don't know what weight Jeep designed the hinge to hold up to, buy it's probably a safe bet that it was designed just large enough to fit the heaviest OEM wheel/tire combination plus a small additional margin. In the long run a bumper/tire carrier is the right decision, but if you're not keeping the vehicle for that long (maybe 50k miles or more???) then you might not want to spend the money.
