I recently got a spare tire to match the size of my replacement tires. I've noticed the rear of the Jeep feels like it's sitting lower.
Anyone else notice this with a larger spare?
any tips to strengthening the rear springs?
Would this decrease the weight on the front tires and lead to handling issues?
Here's a pic of my Jeep showing you the size of the tires. The spare also has a Cragar rim, and a Cooper Discoverer ST in the 285/75R16 size. It feels like it's over 125 pounds!

a set of 33" mudders mounted on steel wheels will weigh more than the stock tire/wheel and it can cause some sagging but not that much. aside from looks, you should be just fine and if it really concerns you, you can always install a set of 1/2" spacers
I agree, it is definitely heavier than stock but 50-70 lbs wouldnt cause any problems with your front end. I had a 35" on the back of mine and felt no difference.
Maybe your head is playing tricks on you.

With the rake that comes with teh jeep stock, the extra weight in the back does a little bit to make my jeep sit more level. But it is still higher in the rear then the front on my jeep. I cant tell how yours is from the picture, but from that angle I think it still looks just fine.
