Cheap separators I had some for a mustang. Almost any auto part store should have something.

The DUI livewires do work good, one of mine keeps makin its way onto drivers side header and shows no effects from the heat

After I installed a stainless exhaust manifold, my wires would always burn out. I even wrapped the manifold and have protective boots... and they still burn out.

I have had the Livewires on my JK for a year now, and one finally crapped out. They lasted a year, which was much longer than others, but not long enough.

I did find a solution that solves this issue. It's called the Sparkarm and people rave about it. I am ordering one up tomorrow.
WrenchRat.Inc

Hope this helps those with this issue.

WrenchRat won't have these available until March. I've created a custom heat shield using alum and carbon fiber. This should work for now. Once I get the SparkArm, I'll post my results.
