Default Spartan locker on a JK

Does anyone know if the d30 27 spline spartan locker would work on a JK? Trying to find an easy inexpensive solution to lock my front diff until I can afford to put on a d60 w/ arb locker. I know there are other lunchbox lockers like the aussie and lockrite... just trying to consider all my options.

I have talked with spartan about their lockers in the jk their dana 30 27 spline or their dana 44 30 spline will not work on our jks. However, aussie does make one for the jk for the dana 30 that works. What you could do though is order the tj carrier from randy's ring and pinion for like 60 dollars then you could use the spartan locker but you would have to reset the backlash which if you don't know how to do can be a problem. That is what i am going to do for the rear dana 44 and just get the aussie for the front.

Funny you say that...

I am actually running a TJ carrier in my front D30, and running the TJ version of the Aussie.

But, now that my gears are done I dont want to mess with the carrier shims... Hence my interest in a lunchbox...

So no Aussie for the rear, no Spartan for the rear... Does anybody make a lunchbox for the JK rear open carrier?

I wish that someone would it make one it would be so much easier to be locked up for cheap. I am a college student so i try to save when i can.

But i have called and asked everyone i even asked aussie about it they told me that they would be working on it soon but it would be a while like 6months to a year.

So i am just going the route i just mentioned here, soon i was going to do a write up on the carrier swap also to help those like me that don't have 2,000 to spend on lockers. Like arb although detriot is a little cheaper that is also something i was considering for the rear since i would have to reset backlash anyway.
