Default Specific Question

I have a specific question... I'm running a 4" Skyjacker Lift (non adjustable arms), the kit came with a front trackbar relocation bracket, but I'm running JKS Adjustable Trackbar, I can see that the trackbar and the draglink are not exactly parallel to each other, should I remove the relocation bracket in order to just run the adjustable trackbar? Do you guys think this could be the culprit of some kind of death wobble?

Thanks in advance!

when you installed the relocation bracket, did you install a dropped pitman arm at the same time? if so, your track bar and drag link should be pretty close to parallel but not necessarily exactly parallel. also, if you decide to remove the track bar relocation bracket, you will NEED to remove the dropped pitman arm at the same time. of course, if you do not have a dropped pitman arm installed, that could cause all kinds of handling issues and you should remove the track bar relocation bracket for sure.

having said all that, the skyjacker relocation bracket that i have seen attaches to the axle and it has been the cause of people having the factory mount tear off. so, to answer your question, yes, it could be the cause of DW and related symptoms. and, yes, i would recommend removing it or replacing it with a better solution.

again, running just the JKS track bar will be fine but, you will need to make sure that you do not have a dropped pitman arm installed.

Probably not. And not without a trackbar bracket as well.

You want the trackbar and draglink to be parallel to each other. (the bars may have bends in them, so use the mounting holes to judge the angles). In the OP's case, it sounds like he is using the trackbar bracket, but not the drop pitman, which alters the angles away from parallel.

This is a short presentation that TF did:
