Default speedo

So I am about to install my TF 2.5 coil lift and want to know if I will need to recalibrate my speedo. I am currently running 285/70/17 and am calibrated for them. I am just lifting not changing tire size.

Thanks

No, you're fine. You'd want to recal your speedo if you change tire and/or wheel size.

Sweet. That's what I thought, but since I'm a noob, I thought I better ask. Thanks!

Well are those the stock tires that came on the jeep? If not then getting an AEC ProCal to recal your speedo would be a good idea.

Have you verified this? Unless at the dealer I would find it doubtful.

But as far as the lift you are fine. May want to check the aim of your headlights though.

Agreed and if you plan on getting bigger tires once you do a lift which you probably will, I'd say the ProCal is a great investment.

It was calibrated at the dealer. I do want 35's sometime down the road and will likely get a procal before that, but it will be after I do some other mods.

Thanks for the help. I'm sure ill be asking.for more of your expertise real soon!
