Speedo question
Not sure if anyone civered this, couldnt find anything. I too plan on having larger tires installed. How do you guys go about skewed speed after wheel/tire change.
When I put bigger wheels on my 95 impala ss i had to reprogram pcm. when i put a diff set of wheels on a 93 caprice I had to recalibrate tranny and change abs reluctor gear for abs to work properly. Without those changes my speedos were all over the place. At 60 mph it would show 85mph or more. How do you guys handle it with Jeeps?

tuners
an aftermarket tuner like one from Superchips should be avail soon, but a check at the dealer service may be wise
remember, because of the all new redesign, it may be awhile before dealers know and aftermarket catches up
if you add larger tires to an automatic trans equiped JK getting the spedo corrected (or other calibrations) may be very important for it to shift properly
and run right
also, re-gearing the axles is realy needed when going to 35"+ tires
(even more ness. if you dont have the fact. 4.10 gear ratio)
