Default Speedometer change?

When moving up from a stock 32 inch tire to a 33 inch tire, does it throw the speedometer off significantly?

Google tire size calculator. There are many sites that allow you to enter current tire size and an optional size for comparison. The change will actually be a percent off not an exact number at all speeds (example speedo reads 30mph actual speed 33mph and speedo 60mph actual 65mph). I personally went 225/75 16 to 255/75 17 and my speedo is off 8.5%.

most people have not noticed a change. I can tell you the jump from 32 to 35 is pretty significant. My nav speed shows me about 8 mph faster at 70 on my speedo. And 5th gear is useless. Gotta regear now. Gonna go with 4.88.

We did the 33"s on my wife's Jeep and it messed up the shift points until I got home and used the Pro - cal to correct it.
