Speedometer and tires
I drive a 2010 Sport. i just put 33s on it. and now the speedometer is about 7 mph slower than im actualy going. and i assume it would be putting less miles on the car. is there anywhere i could take it to get it recalibrated?
I'm assuming you previously had the standard 16" SR-A Goodyears.... The best place to re-flash the speedo, considering it's a brand new Wrangler, is the dealer.
The dealer is limited on the size tire they can set the computer for.
You best bet may be one of the tuners. If you don't need to change the tuning of your JK, get an AEV ProCal. It will let you adjust for tire size, (and gears, among other things), and is cheaper than a full tuner.

The dealership I've been doing buisness with for the past 16 years is a pretty good place.
I was in a few weeks ago getting the wifes 07 Unlimited inspected for the state. There was an 08 on the rack and I got talking with the owner. He had 37" on it. I ask how he deals with the speedo. One of the mechanics was there, and he said he was going to calibrate. I said I thought you could only calibrate to the largest factory tire size. He said yea, well that's what we're suposed to but the computer allows to play with numbers, and rather then use the factory settings on the equipment, he just goes into the custom screen and plays with the diameter tell he get's it calibrated. Told me don't ever bring it up with the service desk guys though. I asked If I put on 33's can he calibrate for me. He said sure, just keep it quiet. He's the same mechanic that was supposed to do a rotor replacement on my 94XJ, since I've never had it done, and there was a recall years ago on it. Came back and said the rotors I put on when I put on the 33's are still good. Do I want them replaced or do I just want to leave mine on and take a new set home with me. Told me if I go that route, he'd get them from parts and just put them in my XJ, but I'd still have to wait around for about an hour so he could accomplish the rotor replacement on paper. During that hour he and another good mechanic were talking about the do's and don'ts. I learned quite a bit. Forget the service desk guys, but as I've always said make good friends with the mechanics and parts guys.
