I agree your best bet is to call David at Northridge. He'll give you some sound advice on the best way to achieve what you're wanting to do.

I would almost go with a FT 4 long arm and new drive shafts 4000.
And then go 35's or 37's 1000.

Then you can still buy springs only and put this up to 6"

he can buy the 3" long arm kit for 35's.

That way when he has the cash to regear. He can throw on 37's, new springs and shocks for a 4" and bet set!

First you are going to need new drive shafts period.

Keep the feet, just but do get a spare man! And get a tire carrier while you're at it. You can always get some money for it when you get a new rear bumper

Forget the long arm for now. Do what piginajeep did not what he recommended Budget man budget! This has already eaten have of it!

Front bumper and winch!

If anythings left, armor up.

You set that Jeep on 37's you're going to go way over budget!

i agree with shafts..

but All these people putting budget lifts on are going to regret wasting the cash.

First off, they dont ride as nice as a complete lift.

Then, they will eventually put a complete short arm on. Maybe a year or two down the road. They'll decide this lift isnt big enough, I want 37's!!!

Then they'll get a long arm and 37's. Why waste the cash. Get the right lift the first time around..
stock other than the lift and tires

Man you guys all have some tempting great ideas. Pig, I bet your Jeep rides insanely well at that heigt. It looks like spider squated down ready to pounce on a rock. I doubt I will go to 37s on this 2 door. Maybe one day, but I have a dana 30 in the front and I really don't think all the extra expence is worth an extra inch of ground clearence. I would like to hear some more ideas! I tell you $5k doesn't go very far in modding a Jeep. Thanks for all the input.

BTW- The dallas stars came with the hardtop i bought.
