Default Spidertrax question...

I just installed some 1.5" spacers and for some reason my right rear tire sticks out farther than the rest?! Everything is flush, torqued, and checked... any ideas? Its hard to tell in the pic, but I'll attach anyway...

Do you have a lift? If so do you have adj track bars? If not that could be the culprit.

Well..... I'm kind of a newbie to all this... But to answer your question, yes. I have the 2.5" RC BB. As far as adjustable track bar... unless it came with the stock JK, then I don't have it.

thats why, your axle shifted to the passenger side from the lift.

since you lifted you jeep, the trackbar is at a steeper angle than it was before. since the trackbar attaches to the passenger side of the jeep and the driver side of the axle, it makes the axle shift towards the passenger side. you can get either an adjustable trackbar, or a trackbar relocation bracket (i know teraflex makes one) that will lower the mounting point on the frame. this will recenter you axle.

Your left front will stick out further than the right front, for the same reasons. The trackbar attaches opposite points up there, swinging your front axle out in the other direction.

It doesnt effect the drivability of the Jeep. Some people dont get the adjustable bars for that reason, it's just aesthetic mainly at lower lift heights. I did get adjustable bars when I lifted mine, because i was setting myself up for a larger lift in the future...

...and the axles being offcentered would drive me batchit.

Thanks everyone! So, it's safe to say that for the time being everything is okay, it's just aesthetics? I'm actually looking into getting the 4" Rough Country lift, so should I be looking into getting the trackbar?

Yup, you got it. I think the general rule is about 2"-3" and up, either get adjustable trackbars, or the relocation brackets. Most people opt for the trackbars, thet allow more fine tuning. (And there have been a lot of breakage issues with the brackets, some resolved, some not)

This link is about the adj. front the adj. rear is basically the same concept. It should give you a pretty good idea of what it entails.
