Figured it couldn't hurt on the spacers but you would never want to put that stuff on your lugs! Could you imagine gettin a flat out in the middle of nowhere and wrestling with trying to break the lugs!?!
It's funny, I really feel the same way. But if you go to the Superior Cromoly rear axles, they'll tell you to use the red Loctite on the lug nuts as well.

I wouldnt impact wrench them on, nor would i use one on the wheels, rotors tend to get warpage when doing so. Red loctite & torque wrench as per the directions, had them on for nearly two years, and around 15k miles, Numerous tire/wheel rotations later, no issues.

I just took mine off due to gettting new wheels and tires.
I coulda sworn the Spidertrax directions said final torque of 110ft-lbs,
and I checked them at 100ft-lbs. And yes they come with red loctite
to be used on the hub studs that hold the spacers on, NOT the wheel lugs.
Factory wheels torque is 95ft-lbs acording to owner's manual.

One drop of Red Loctite?

Crap, I just put mine on today I ran a "bead" down the length of stud. Is that going to be a problem if I every try to take them off?

Also, The ones I installed I bought used from someone on this site. They were not "Hub Centric", but my wheels still seemed to go on fine & centered. Do I need to keep an eye out for anything?

I drowned mine in red LocTite when i did them. I took them off a year later and the only thing i noticed was even after breaking the nuts free, I just could not spin the remainder off by hand. I little inconveinient, but well worth the piece of mind.

And to the OP. Do not use an impact gun

They suggest you red loctite the studs into the back of the axle shaft since they are screw in.

I would never use red loctite on the actual studs.

We sell a ton of spidertrax spacers and never have any issues. please install them according to the MFG specs.

Also the spacers dont add any more wear and tear then aftermarket wheels.
