Spidertrax VS Teraflex - wheel spacer's
I'm using spidertrax but that is only because I received them in a trade. I would not hesitate to use teraflex spacers. Please do not get some no-name spacers, you will have nothing but trouble.
Mine were almost the exact same price,..From separate retailers,
Spidertrax cost me $127.xxCAD with tax and shipping per pair
Tereaflex cost me $131.xxCAD with tax and shipping per pair
spidertrax $99.99

The TF spacers are 1.25" and the Spidertrax are 1.5in. The TF spacers will work fine with stock wheels, but if you decide to run these with other wheels you may need to grind some of your stock stud down so that a wheel would sit flush. This is the only downside I can see with the TF.
Spidertrax has always been the conventional wisdom on spacers and still is in my book.
I know the JK has the same bolt pattern as the WJ, but is there any reason other than possibly needing to grind the tips of the studs that the 1.25" Spidertrax for the WJ would not fit the JK? Are they both the same diameter for the "hub centric" piece?

Just so yall know, I helped a friend install TF spacers on his jk and noticed the studs sticking past the spacer face, but on the stock jk rims there is little clearance holes where that extra stud length fits into. It's a shame FireRescue learned the hard way on this, but this is an area that you need to be tottally knowledgable about what spacer will work for your application. I'm sure alot of people are running TF spacers on stock rims with no probs, just be really aware of this if you go aftermarket rims. Thanks for posting those pics FireRescue. The more people that know about this the better. Not slamming TF in anyway, their products are stout. But if you go any less than 1.5 in on any brand, get out the grinder for aftermarket wheels.
Just a note... the ones on mine are not teraflex or spydertrax. They were a generic brand that 4 wheel parts in Santa Rosa installed. I think that if a reputable shop is installing something they should at least know what needs to be done to do it properly and safely.
