I still agree with this guy!

That was a nice job in the video but I'll stick with sPod. By the time you buy all the parts shown PLUS your switches and/or Daystar dash panel, you're almost equal to the cost of the sPod. Plus, the sPod comes with battery run-down protection. I don't care for the Tupperware/Rubbermaid/Gladware look under my hood either.

Not all of us use tupperware...^^^^but yes the sPod is nice. Building something relatively comparable also doesnt cost $375.

I have the sPOD and it is really nice. However, I'm not here to suggest that anyone who wants to try something else should listen to me and choose my path. But, I would suggest that my biggest disappointment with the sPOD is that it isn't waterproof. Even the factory TIPM has a waterproof seal around the fuse/relay box. If the "Tupperware look" gave me a waterproof install, I'd go for it--along with the sPOD switch panel and OTRATTW switches and VDO oil pressure gauge, LOL.

I like the look and easy functionality of the sPod but that's right where my cb goes.

That was my issue as well. I guess you can't please everyone, unless you build your own just like u want.
