Spohn Tie Rod, Opinions?
I'm looking for some feedback on the Spohn JK tie rod. I searched and was not able to find a review, although it sounds like plenty have purchased this tie rod.
I like the fact that the stock knuckles do not have to be reamed and the price is low when compared to others. I'm not really interested in making my own tie rod.
Any feedback would be appreciated. Also, what wheels are you guys running with this tie rod? I have Rubicon wheels with 1.5in spacers that sound like they will clear the 1 ton TREs, but it would be good to know for sure.

I don't have any experience with the tie rod you mentioned but there's a new vendor here on the forum that have some awesome steering they're selling. I know they're tie rods there is no need for reaming as well and do fit your setup. I think there may be a forum discount too. Check them out... www.fusion4x4.com
Holy cow! With packaging like that, I'm surprised they don't require you to return the box! hehehehe...
I know! It's damn classy. I mean how many times have you ordered something and you go to carry the box and you can hear all the metal bit banging around? Right? It's happened to all of us. Can't wait to get it installed this weekend.

Sounds like the overwhelming opinion is that the fusion is worth the extra $100 over the Spohn? Not to sound like a cheap a$$, its just that my project to do ball joints has evolved into unit bearings, u-joints, drag link, tie rod, and c-gussets.
Is that the 1 ton or 2.5 ton? What stabilizer bracket are you going to run? Sounds like the overwhelming opinion is that the fusion is worth the extra $100 over the Spohn? I couldn't tell from reading the description... Is the Spohn 1 ton or 2.5 ton ends? Also one of the big differences is that Fusion 4x4 is using aluminum for the shaft instead of chromoly.
