Default sport bar

I had arock hard sport bar installed at 4 wheel parts and my wife noticed that she was getting wind noise coming in from the front of the freedom top. Has anyone else had this problem. They have tried to grind part of the removeable t section to make it fit lower, seems to be hitting the bar. This problem is only on the driver side and not the passenger side. Rock hard told me that this is a easy install but it doen't seem like it. If any ideas on a fix please post it.

I ground clearance3 off both sides and the spots are at the back external (side) ridge, a little more on the drivers side and I had to grind the top of the ALLEN bolts (3 per side) , just felt tip mark the tops, remove and grind, then reinstall to obvious positions

Mine doesn't make any noise and more important, doesn't leak

The howl that you hear may also be the front of the door, the upper door hinge may not have been put back in its original position (to far out), if they took the door off, to drill the sill, for the cage mounts (3) bolts per side

If were not talking about the same bar, then forget my ramblings

good luck

Smile sport bar

We finally got the wind noise down to almost none. YOu can barely hear it at 30 mph and a little louder at 75 to 80 mph. Had to grind the roof and the three bolts on the front driver side above the collar, the bolts would hit the roof to the point it would not sit right. If you call rock hard they told me to do it myself it is only a bolt in. The cutting of the trim is a pain in the you know what. It took 4 wheel parts about 6 hours to cut the trim and they are going to redo the passenger side again, they took to much off. If any one else have installed this bar let us know what problems you came across. This is not a easy instal.
