Default spot or flood lights?

I tried a quick search for the answer but I could not find it. What type of light is better for a windshield mount?

Thanks

For a windshield mounted light a spot or lange range beam would be better. The flood light causes more of a glare on the hood. Hope that helps.

Normally, the first question is "What kind of lighting do I need?" Do I need to see detail in a wide pool in front of me, or do I need to see what's 100 yards down the road, or right in front of me, under thick fog, etc....

...and, then, what type of light would do that, and, where should that type of light be mounted to provide te best illumination of what it is I wanted to be able to see?

Warn SDB lights 160's and 210's are dual beam lights as well and a little cheaper than the Arcos.
