spotlight question
You want to have the lights that were on a jeep in a movie?

There are tons of rectangular lights out there....you SHOULD base your choice on the specs...like the beam pattern, range, color temperature, etc...that you want, rather than its shape....afterall, in a movie, it could have been a prop.

or go here:

I looked around on the net ie Quadratec, kc, ipf etc but could nt find anything quite as slim in a rectangular shape, however I noticed the lights on the tomb raider jeep just above the windscreen and liked them, i know it is extremely corny to use a vehicle in a movie as guideline but they would fit the bill, there appears to be two lights off the same mount not sure of the performance, anyone know of anything similar, thanks

On the version that's in the actual movie, I can't get a good enough picture to see them well enough.

thanks happy that answers my question, I am going to buy them there is a guy in australia hid technologies that can increase the light output, iknow it sounds like alot of effort and probably easier to be normal spotlights but I like the look of those ones, thanks again
the closest thing i found was these...

the picture is a little screwed up, but its the best i could find. Its basically the Hella Work lamps but with clear lense instead of that wierd flood lamp lense. they are still 55w per bulb and with 2 bulbs per lamp and then 4 lamps, you are talking about a lot of power.
since its not a direct sponsor, i'll just past the link as text. mods, remove it if you want... recoverygear.com/hella . html its the 2nd one down.
but honestly, i think the ones on the movie version of the jeep are custom one of a kind lights that you are not going to find anywheres else. that or they are old versions of some off road light that isnt made anymore.
