Default Spray on Liner Flares?

Has anyone used any of the spray on liners on their flares? I'm wondering how it would look and how well it would hold up? If it holds up well, It'd be nice to have the hard protection on the flares. Post pics if you have them.

I havnt seen any flares done but I just had my bumper Line x'd and it looks sick. If you like the textured look..its a strong finish that looks like it will last a lifetime

I have seen this done on a Chevy. Actually a mod that I have planned for my Expy and the JK (if I decide to put on some Bushwackers). They look great and definitely be a lot more durable. If get it done, please post up some pics.

I've never seen it done on a Jeep, but would be interesting. Maybe you could look for a cheap set of used flares from another JK and try it, if it doesn't work or you don't like it you still have your stock set.

I am wanting to do this as well but was wondering how well they would stay black or would they turn to that mud brown color.

Pictures would be great....

I did this on my CJ when i rebuilt it 2 years ago. below you can see what it looked like right after I did it, and the second pic is 2 years later... There is alittle bit of fading and the lighting makes it look worse, but it's really not bad. Also, the whole outside is the same stuff, but with a UV protectant from Durabak and it's holding up great! No fade or anything! If i could do it again, i'd spend the extra 20 bucks and get the UV stuff in the black as well.
